  So the Holy Gospel records about our patron saint, St. John the Baptist. Following the tradition of our namesake and patron, it is the mission of St. John the Baptist School to bear witness to the Light, who is Jesus Christ.  Our school has produced many graduates since we opened 1954 and they have each been sent to live a life of meaning and purpose in advancement of the kingdom of God.
  
  We prepare our students for a flourishing life of faith, learning and service. Our belief is that every human being has been created in the image of God. It is the purpose of our school to help each student recognize and develop the divine light within oneself, as well as to reflect that light to others.
